This is a beautiful game with jaw dropping setpieces. This makes it so party composition is important. This game also features a party system, where each character has a skill that only triggers when you swap them in. There are time sensitive dodges, long combo trees, and character specific skills. This game is the closest thing to Bayonetta or Devil May Cry you're going to get for free, which is doubly impressive as it started out as a mobile game. The story presentation and the gameplay are the standouts here. However, the game will give you plenty of free characters and materials to max them out with, giving you more than enough power to finish the story. When it comes to the most rare characters, that makes it impossible to max them out. This game needs duplicates and grinding to max out a character.
Let's get something out of the way first - this is a gacha game. To install Honkai Impact 3, simply run the installer and you're good to go. Honkai Impact 3 bucks that trend fantastically. However, very rarely does it feel like they actually put all that money they get to good use and actually make a good game too. Gacha games - and mobile games in general - have a very bad reputation of doing everything in their power to squeeze all the money out of you with all the dirty tricks in the book.
